PICK OF THE DAY Winter Viruses & How To Beat Them (BBC2, 9pm) Documentary looking at the annual problem of increased viruses spreading around the population in winter.
Rory & Will: Champions of the World (Channel 5, 9pm) New series where Rory McGrath and Will Mellor travel around the country, experiencing some of the UK's strangest pastimes and games. (1/4)
Criminal Minds (Sky Living, 9pm) Season 8 of the US crime drama. (1/24)

Brain Hospital: Saving Lives (Channel 5, 10pm) Documentary series following various patients at the Walton Centre in Liverpool, who are undergoing brain surgeries. (1/4)
The Richard Dimbleby Lecture 2013 (BBC1, 10.35pm) 37th annual lecture in memory of Richard Dimbleby, this time from renowned philanthropist and Microsoft creator Bill Gates.


WEDNESDAY 30th
The Hairy Bikers Everyday Gourmet (BBC2, 8pm) New series where Si King and Dave Myers show you how to make gourmet food on a budget. (1/6)
