The Simpsons dominate both sides of the Atlantic, with an impressive week's takings. In the US, Adam Sandler's widely-panned gay comedy is still doing great business at #2, while Transformers and Die Hard take significant drops. Plus, disaster for Lindsay Lohan's latest movie, in at #9!

In the UK, the top four movies all take over a £1m this week, which is great, but Die Hard 4.0 takes a particular drop as people clamour for Simpsons, Potter, Transformers and Hairspray.
