Scorsese does Hitchcock

Sunday 9 December 2007
Have you ever seen Alfred Hitchcock's The Key To Reserva? No?

Well, of course not -- that's because it was an unmade film by the great British director, and only a handful of pages from the script survive to prove the project ever existed...

Recently, a modern legend of cinema, Martin Scorsese, undertook a unique project to preserve Hitch's film idea -- by filming the existing pages, shot-by-shot, as Hitchcock himself would have done. Well, that was the intention...

The result? A superb little "short" you can watch for free here. It's a real gem for any cinephile; delivering more tension in minutes than some films achieve in hours...

Enjoy.
