As previously reported, spoof mockumentary series Moving Wallpaper is returning for another series, without fake soap Echo Beach to feed off. Instead, we'll be treated to a zombie TV Pilot called "Renaissance", starring model Kelly Brook (above) and Alan Dale (Ugly Betty/Lost). No word yet on when this "zombies on a plane" spectacular will be shown, but my guess is at the end of Moving Wallpaper -- once viewers have witnessed the hilarious behind-the-scenes events that went into its making.
Clever stuff, ITV. Kelly Brook and zombies will draw a crowd, and the cult appeal of Alan Dale can't be sniffed at either. This new series of Moving Wallpaper sounds like it's shaping up rather nicely. Ironically, will ITV's fake zombie pilot become a big hit for the channel, who have spent this year trying to find a popular real drama?
