Look how quickly things change in Hollywood. Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles was under threat of imminent cancellation just last week (as ratings dropped to 5.7 million), but Fox have just announced they've picked it up for a full season of 22 episodes!So what happened to change their minds? Some people believe Fox want to keep Terminator around in the schedule because Joss Whedon's Dollhouse (set to takeover Chronicles' Monday timeslot next year) is having creative problems. Or maybe Fox execs just love the show? That's always been the unofficial explanation for Prison Break's survival. Whatever the reason, fans can rest easy: they'll get a full year of Summer Glau kneeing robots in the groin. Oh, and the news gives me a great excuse to post the above photo.
