- Oh. There's nothing new worth watching today, unless you like Taggart (ITV1, 9pm).
TUESDAY 9th
- Still nothing. I think all the new TV is being held back for Christmas.
WEDNESDAY 10th
- The Hairy Baker's Christmas Special (BBC2, 8pm) The Geordie cooks host a festive special.
THURSDAY 11th
- Kill It, Cook It, Eat It: Christmas Special (BBC3, 9pm) Julia Bradbury returns with another behind-the-scenes look at exactly how animals are slaughtered for food.
FRIDAY 12th
- One Last Consonant, Please Carol (Channel 4, 2.55pm) Carol Vorderman is interviewed by Gyles Brandreth about her 26-year career on the popular afternoon gameshow Countdown.
- Peter Kay Presents Geraldine McQueen's Christmas Video (Channel 4, 10pm) The comedian's alter-ego debuts her festive single, hoping to become the UK's Christmas Number One.
- The World's Greatest Stand-Up (Channel 4, 10.40pm) A variety of comedians perform at the International Comedy Festival in Montreal. Features Dara O'Briain, Denis Leary, Dylan Moran, Tim Allen, Dave Chappelle & Lee Evans.
SATURDAY 13th
- Dad's Army Night (BBC2, 7.10pm) An evening to celebrate the classic '60s sitcom.
