Fox have released their primetime schedule for the 09/10 TV season. Of interest to me is the news they're moving Fringe to Thursdays @9pm (competing with NBC's The Office), Dollhouse retains its "bad timeslot" of Fridays @9pm, and 24 will stay put on Mondays @9pm (season 8 premiere's on 17 Jan '10.) As I mentioned earlier today, Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles has been officially axed1.
There are also a few new Fox shows I'm interested to see: Human Target, a comic-book adaptation about a private contractor who helps his clients stay alive by pretending to be them, starring Mark Valley (Fringe), Chi McBride (Pushing Daisies) and Jackie Earle Haley (Watchmen), from producers McG (Chuck, Terminator Salvation) and Simon West (Con Air, Tomb Raider). It will premiere on 17 Jan '10 @8pm.
There's also Past Life (based on the book "The Reincarnationist") about a psychologist who solves crimes with a NYPD detective by regressing people using hypnosis, starring Kelli Giddish and Nicholas Bishop.
1. They're already talking about mounting a campaign to continue T:TSCC as "DVD Premieres", which is a branch of entertainment that's expected to grow if there's the right material for it. Hey, it didn't hurt Futurama, but it's a tad trickier to get actors together who will most likely have moved onto other things and be tied into new contracts. But hey, never say die, right?
