It's just another Terminator Salvation TV spot, right? Wrong. This one features a few glimpses of the CGI Arnold Schwarzenegger, who sorta resembles a pink version of the CGI Hulk. Was Arnie ever that broad, even back in '84? While it doesn't look entirely photorealistic, it doesn't look too bad. It probably would have been twice as good if the real Arnie had agreed to do some motion-capture for McG. But, in context it probably works fine as pure-CGI. Of course, it's tantalizing to imagine what might be achieved in 10 years time with such effects. Will Terminator 6 have a digital-Arnie as a prominent character? If there's one movie star whose performances should be relatively easy to replicate in a computer, it's Schwarzenegger. The Governor's gonna have a second career when he's in a nursing home somewhere...
