Its cards were marked when the abysmal ratings for season 2 came in, but now Fox have made it 100% official: Joss Whedon's troubled sci-fi drama Dollhouse has been axed. Fox will resume broadcasting the rest of the season in double-bills every Friday -- 4-18 December (ep5-10) and 8-22 January (ep11-13). I just hope the writers heeded the omens and have written a definitive series finale in time, don't you?
