Dollhouse: "Epitaph Two - The Return"

Wednesday, 2 December 2009

A quick reminder that Dollhouse returns to Fox this Friday @8pm, for the first of its weekly double-bills airing throughout December and late-January. After that, Joss Whedon's troubled sci-fi drama is unfortunately over with. Anyway, it's just been revealed that the series finale (written by Maurissa Tancharoen, Jed Whedon and Andrew Chambliss) will be entitled "Epitaph Two: The Return" and is effectively a sequel to the near-mystical "thirteenth episode" of season 1, "Epitaph One" (which never aired in the US, but was instead a DVD-exclusive extra.) The series finale will star Felicia Day's character from "Epitaph One" and will assumedly revisit the same dystopian future.

In case you were wondering, I will be resuming my reviews of Dollhouse at the US pace now. Considering the fact there's going to be two episodes released every week, this will probably mean shorter reviews. Need another reason to tune in this week? Summer Glau makes her Dollhouse debut (see photo above).
