Now that BBC Three's Being Human is back on our screens, I bet you forgot that a US remake is still going ahead. The thirteen-part season, ordered by Syfy, has just revealed its showrunners: married writers Jeremy Carver (Supernatural) and Anna Fricke (Privileged).
I don't have much to add, beyond saying it'll be interesting to see if the US version takes a different approach to the idea. With the larger budgets in the US, I'm expecting better production values and special effects, naturally, but will it retain any of the British version's flavour and tone? Is a remake even necessary, really?
