Doctor Who Magazine's latest issue confirms that new showrunner Steven Moffat is writing six episodes of the fifth 13-part series, with former-Torchwood showrunner Chris Chibnall penning two.Individual episodes are coming from Mark Gatiss (The Unquiet Dead), Gareth Roberts (The Shakespeare Code), and Being Human's creator Toby Whithouse (School Reunion).
Two eminent writers are also making their Who debuts this year, both from comedy backgrounds; Richard Curtis (Four Weddings & A Funeral, Notting Hill) and Simon Nye (Men Behaving Badly).
