The Cape: Trailer

Here's the trailer for NBC's new mid-season replacement, The Cape. It's Darkman-meets-Heroes, with some '60s-era Batman villains. It co-stars Summer Glau. It quotes Star Wars and Knight Rider. There's a Heroes-like circus with magical freaks. Vinnie Jones appears with a scaly face. It all looks incredibly cheesy, but more fun than I was imagining. Or have they just thrown in every half-decent moment and setpiece to lure us in? What do you think? Is this the cool Heroes replacement NBC want it to be, or does it look too old-fashioned and stupid to fly?
