How To Live A Simple Life (BBC2, 9pm) Three-part series about Peter Owen Jones, a part-time vicar who tries to avoid consumerism for a year.

SAS: The Real Story (Channel 4, 8pm) Series documenting the history, myths and secrecy of the SAS.
Nation On Film: VE Day (BBC2, 8.30pm) Documentary about life during WWII, using footage shot by both amateurs and professionals. Narrated by David Suchet.
