Syfy's remake of BBC3's Being Human is currently filming, and now we have the first photo of the Americanized cast. From left to right: Sam Huntington as werewolf Josh, Sam Witwer as vampire Aidan, and Meaghan Rath as ghost Sally. What do you think of our first proper look at them? Y'know, I'm actually pleasantly surprised. The actors seem to have a similar vibe to the UK cast, particularly noticeable in Rath's attire and look. Does this give you hope for a faithful remake, just with different accents and a bigger effects budget? Syfy's summary of the show is below:
Being Human -– The series follows three paranormal, 20-something roommates living in Boston -– vampire "Aidan" (Witwer), werewolf "Josh" (Huntington) and ghost "Sally" (Rath) -– as they struggle to hide their dark secrets from the world, while helping each other navigate the complexities of living double lives and trying to be human. Mark Pellegrino plays Aidan's charismatic but menacing vampire mentor "Bishop" (Pelligrino).
