Bravo shows transfer to Sky

Tuesday, 4 January 2011

You may have noticed that Bravo vanished from your EPG on 1 January, because Sky are gradually scrapping the suite of channels it acquired from Virgin Media last year for £160m (apart from Living.) But what's happening to the popular shows on these dying channels? Well, most are transferring to Sky1...

The closure of Bravo already means Sky1 will be getting Dog The Bounty Hunter, the Star Trek franchise, Leverage, Highway Patrol, Caribbean Cops, and TNA Wrestling. Perhaps the biggest relief is that Spartacus: Blood & Sand is being taken under Sky1's wing, which I assume means the Spartacus: Gods Of The Arena prequel will also premiere on Sky1 later this year, in glorious HD.
