Sing For Your Life (Channel 4, 8pm) Documentary about 35 cancer patients forming a choir, to test a theory that singing may help fight the disease.
World War II: 1942 & Hitler's Soft Underbelly (BBC4, 9pm) Documentary about the WWII battles in North Africa and Italy. Presented by David Reynolds.
The Vampire Diaries (ITV2, 9pm) Season 4 of the US supernatural drama. Starring Nina Dobrev, Paul Wesley, Ian Somerhalder & Steven R McQueen. (1/23)
PICK OF THE DAY Switch (ITV2, 10pm) Brand new supernatural drama about a coven of four modern-day witches. Starring Hannah Tointon, Lacey Turner, Nina Toussaint-White & Phoebe White. (1/6)
The Agenda (ITV1, 10.35pm) Brand new weekly discussion show, tackling recent news and current affairs. Presented by Tom Bradby. (1/8)

PICK OF THE DAY Imagine: Freddie Mercury – The Great Pretender (BBC1, 10.35pm) Documentary on the flamboyant lead singer of rock band Queen.

Gossip Girl (ITV2, 7pm) Season 6 of the US drama. Starring Blake Lively, Leighton Meester & Chace Crawford. (1/10)
Tales From The Wild Wood (BBC4, 8.30pm) Series where woodsman Rob Penn spends a year restoring the abandoned Strawberry Cottage Wood in Monmouthshire. (1/6)
Grand Designs: The 100th Episode (Channel 4, 9pm) Celebratory episode to mark the show's 100th instalment, with the story of converting a 150-year-old London water tower into a luxury home.
