Jumbo: The Plane That Changed the World (BBC2, 9pm) Documentary about the origin of the Boeing 747.
The Storms that Stole Christmas (Channel 4, 9pm) Documentary about the storms that disrupted much of the UK over Christmas 2013.
Junior Paramedics (BBC3, 9pm) New documentary following nine student paramedics working for the East Midlands Ambulance Service. (1/7)

The Pity of War (BBC2, 9pm) Historical drama using graphics and stories to demonstrate how joining WWI was a tragic mistake for the UK. Hosted by Niall Ferguson.
Vikings (Amazon PIV) Season 2 of the historical action drama, available to stream a day after its US premiere.
