Below are my picks of the week's most notable shows, returning/premiering on UK screens this week...

MONDAY 24th
The Voice Louder on Two (BBC2, 6.30pm) New companion series to The Voice now it's begun its live shows. Hosted by Zoe Ball. (1/10)
My Spiral into Debt Hell (Channel 5, 9pm) Documentary about four young people who have suffered financial disasters.
Moone Boy 2: Behind the Scenes (Sky1, 9.30pm) The making of Sky's sitcom.
★ Rev (BBC2, 10pm) Series 4 of the religious comedy. Starring Tom Hollander, Olivia Colman, Jimmy Akingbola, Steve Evets, Miles Jupp & Lucy Liemann. (1/6)

TUESDAY 25th
Never Left Britain (Sky1, 9pm) Documentary about a couple who have never travelled overseas because one has a fear of the unknown.
★ The Missing (Channel 4, 10pm) Documentary about missing people in the UK, of which 2,000 are never seen again every year.

WEDNESDAY 26th
★ Big Star's Little Star (ITV, 8pm) Series 2 of the celebrity gameshow involving the children of famous parents. Guests are Ben Cohen, Denise Lewis & Neil Ruddock. Hosted by Stephen Mulhern. (1/8)
Killing Spree: Suffolk Strangler (Channel 5, 8pm) Documentary on the fork-lift driver who killed five Ipswich women in 2006.
Masterchef (BBC1, 9pm) Series 10 of the culinary challenge show. (1/24)
The Greatest Knight: William the Marshall (BBC2, 9pm) Historical special about an English soldier who serves four kings in the 12th and 13th centuries. Presented by Thomas Asbridge.
Dead Famous DNA (Channel 4, 9pm) New series where vet Mark Evans tries to find the last remains of some famous historical figures. (1/3)
Kris: Dying to Live (BBC3, 9pm) Documentary about a young woman diagnoses with terminal breast cancer.
Exposure: Inside the Diplomatic Bag (ITV, 10.35pm) Investigation into a claim a member of an embassy is able to commit crime thanks to his position.

THURSDAY 27th
Mayday: The Passenger Who Landed a Plane (Channel 4, 9pm) Documentary about a great-grandfather who landed a plane when the pilot collapsed at 1,500ft.
★ Believe (Watch, 9pm) New US sci-fi drama about a wrongfully-convicted criminal who must protect a 10-year-old girl with supernatural powers. Co-created by Alfonso Cuaron and JJ Abrams. Starring Jake McLaughlin, Johnny Sequoyah, Delroy Lindo, Remy Auberjonois, Jamie Chung, Marl Delabarre, Sienna Guillory & Kyle McLachlan. (1/13)


FRIDAY 28th
Alan Carr: Chatty Man (Channel 4, 10pm) Series 12 of the chat show. Guests are Gary Barlow, Ricky Gervais & Jessica Hynes. (1/15)
★ Joanna Lumley Meets Will.i.am (BBC1, 10.35pm) The actress and presenter travels to America to spend time with world-famous music artist Will.i.am of the Black Eyed Peas and solo projects.

SATURDAY 29th

SUNDAY 30th
★ Great Barrier Reef (BBC2, 7pm) New nature series about the underwater ecosystem around Australia. (1/3)
