Rob Zombie's remake of classic horror Halloween arrives at the top of the US chart, despite very mixed reviews. Superbad stays solid in #2, while new comedy Balls Of Fury cuddles up at #3. Our own Mr Bean is struggling quite badly now at #6, and new Jet Lee martial arts actioner War disappoints at #9.

Here in the UK, we can't get enough of Bourne, which keeps the #1 spot. Knocked Up is also proving very popular at #2, while John Cusack horror 1408 sits nicely at #3. It seems Catherine Zeta Jones still has fans, who keep No Reservations mid-chart at #6, but no such luck for Kevin Bacon, whose Death Sentence takes the bottom rung at #10.
