The Torchwood Drinking Game

Monday, 24 September 2007

For our American friends currently watching Torchwood's first season, this should make things a little easier to bare:

Take one swig:

Every time there's an aerial shot of Cardiff.
Every time there's a same-sex kiss.
Every time the team get vital information using CCTV or a database.
Every time Ianto seems to be not doing much.
Every time someone cocks a gun.
Every time someone is shot.

Take two swigs:

Every time there's an uncomfortable use of swearing.
Every time you see Jack pointlessly standing on a roof.
Every time there's slow-motion.
Every time Jack makes a decision that seems wrong.
Every time you see the pterodacyl.
Every time the Torchwood SUV arrives at a crime scene.
Every time someone uses satellite tracking/navigation.
Every time they mention the Rift.
Every time gay sex is inferred by someone.

Take three swigs:

Every time Jack refuses to reveal personal information.
Every time Gwen uses a "more traditional" method of investigation.
Every time Gwen and boyfriend Rhys chat on the phone.
Every time an idea/concept appears that is stolen from another source.
Every time there's a reference to Doctor Who.
Every time they use the Hub elevator.

Trust me, it all helps.
