Belated news, but FX recently announced that True Blood's second season will have its UK premiere on Friday 26 February. Having already seen it, I can say it's generally more entertaining than season 1 (the first half is much stronger), but it kind of goes haywire in the last quarter. Defter plotting would have helped sustain all the subplots -- some of which end up high and dry -- but it's still an entertaining series and won't disappoint if you were hooked by season 1.
Across the pond, AMC have set a premiere date for Breaking Bad's third season. The award-winning series will return on Sunday 21 March. Unfortunately, given the reprehensible treatment of this excellent series here in the UK, I'm sure many British fans will find a way to see these episodes in a timely manner. Incidentally, star Bryan Cranston has just been cast in Pixar's live-action sci-fi epic John Carter Of Mars!
