As is customary, tonight's Children In Need telethon included a sneak peak of this year's Doctor Who festive special! Take a look at the minute-long trailer above, featuring Michael Gambon and Katherine Jenkins. My abiding thought is how scrumptious it looks. The production feels exemplary, with a Christmassy atmosphere flowing off the screen, but with a misty creepiness to give it a spooky edge. Fantastic. Plus, some intriguing sights for the eagle-eyed (Rory still in his Roman costume, Amy again dressed as a policewoman), which hints at a timey-wimey storyline from Steven Moffat...
"A Christmas Carol" will hit TV screens on Christmas Day; premiering on BBC1 here in the UK, before airing on BBC America just a few hours later in the US. Can you wait that long?
